Clear Creek 4-H Youth Development
Current COVID-19 Program changes – Our in-person 4-H programming is has been impacted by COVID-19. We are doing some collaborative programming with the Clear Creek Library District and the Clear Creek Recreation District/Kidz Korner. We send out a weekly Boredom Busters eNewsletter with STEM and learn from home ideas that support the 4-H motto of Head, Heart, Hands, and Health for youth and teens. Sign up for the eNewsletter list, and view the email archive with past week’s Boredom Buster activities.
4-H is a national youth development program that has been around for over 100 years. The Clear Creek CSU Extension office opened in 2012, but prior to this, there was a Clear Creek club as a part of Jeffco 4-H. As Clear Creek county does not have a county fair, we are currently unable to offer horse or livestock projects. Clear Creek 4-H’s focuses on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), life, and leadership skills through various projects.

Volunteer as a 4-H Leader!
4-H volunteers are the cornerstone of our Clear Creek 4-H programming and play a key role model in mentoring youth in Clear Creek County. Our shared goal is to build life skills in young people and prepare them for a successful transition into adulthood.
